Who attends this camp?

The camp is open to all rising 9th graders registered to attend JICHS for the 2010-2011 school year. The camp will be housed here at JICHS in two one-week sessions. Those sessions will run Monday-Friday from 9 AM- 1:30 PM. Bus routes are currently being created around the island for pick up and drop off sites so parents do not need to leave work to bring students to camp.

What do I do?

Students are divided up into small groups to participate in a variety of activities while reviewing basic student skills and learning about the culture of the school. We here at JICHS pride ourselves on a low student to teacher ratio which enables us more individual attention to meet the needs of all of our students.

Why should I go?

This summer camp is the perfect opportunity for your child to be part of a small learning community with caring teachers. These teachers will provide your son or daughter with the tools needed to start the school year off on the right path and to continue with a successful freshman year.
